Whats Important to you, is important to me!

We are living in one of the fastest growing areas in the United States.  One of our communities biggest strengths is the kindness of the people who live here.  I believe that Comal County is the perfect place for community policing to thrive.  As your Constable I will work harder than anyone ever has to make sure that the Constable's Office is here to serve you. I will make sure that my office is constantly monitoring  social media, speaking with our neighbors and keeping our "ear to the Ground" so that we can address any situations where  we can assist you.

As an example:  I recently read a post on the "Nextdoor Neighborhood App" from a retired couple in the  River Chase community that paid a contractor in advance for work and then could not reach him, he did not show up to complete the job.  As the Constable I would have offered to assist this couple. We have the resources to make contact with this contractor and determine if there is criminal activity and, if so, obtain a warrant for his arrest.  If we determined  there is no criminal activity I would assist the couple so that they could exercise their options in the JP court to recover their money in a simple civil proceeding.  As a detective for the Constable's Office in Gonzales County, these type of cases were common for me to work and usually easy to resolve.

I believe that you should have access to your Constables Office 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  As your constable I will publish a cellular number that you can call or text at any time and I either myself or one of my deputies will monitor that number at all times.  I understand that not everything is a "911 emergency", that does not mean its not important.  My office will assist you with issues that are important to you.  We will provide you with a law enforcement solution from my office and we will enlist the assistance of other agencies on your behalf when it is appropriate to do so.  As your Constable my priority will be to find out what is important to you, and make that important to me.

Political Views

I am a Christian, I am a conservative Republican. I am pro life and pro second amendment. I believe in God, Family, Country, Community.  I believe the Bible is the foundation of our lives and the Constitution is the foundation of our country.   I respect the opinions of others and I will stand up for those that cannot stand up for themselves.   I know that I cannot "save the world' as a police officer, but I believe I can make it a better place for the people in my community.   I believe that hard work is rewarded and a mans word should be his bond.  I believe that integrity is the most important quality in a lawman.  I believe a lawman should be kind, but not weak; be bold but, not a bully; be proud, but not arrogant. I also believe that you need a sense of humor to survive this profession, and some common sense would be handy as well!
